Brief description of program for Windows.

You can try out the RAAL Android program in the Demo mode. You can download the program to your telephone or tablet from the address www.raal.cz/android

Principle of Raaltrans Databank

The databank offers two basic functions. The first function is the input of the actual offer of carriage (load) or of a free vehicle. The second function is searching in the offers of other users: After entering your offer, you have two possibilities. You can either wait for other RAALTRANS system users to react to the entered offer, or you can display offers from other users and find a counter-offer to your one. These two basic functions are complemented by many other possibilities for effective searching and making offers.

Brief description of program

The program is divided into several parts:

  • In Acquisition you can enter, amend and delete own offers of loads and free vehicles.
  • Viewing serves for finding offers with possibility of displaying contacts to the firms making the offers.
  • List of users - here you can view all the firms in the RAALTRANS system with contact information (address, telephone and fax number, email etc.).
  • The Transits function makes it possible to search out offers where the point of loading is, for example, 100 km from the point you specify and the place of unloading is 100 km from the point of unloading you specify. (only in program version with Odometer).
  • Using the Additional Loads function you can find suitable loads in the proximity of the routes you cover.
  • Matching with the offers you input shows the corresponding counter-offers of carriage/free vehicles according to the criteria you specify.
  • Odometer serves as support for the Transits and Additional Load functions. It suggests a route and calculates toll charges independently.
  • Archiving serves for the saving of all your offers and those of others which you have implemented or are currently implementing.
  • Messages from the company RAALTRANS

Acquisition and adjustment of own offers

Acquisition allows you to input your own carriage and free vehicle offers in the system.

The non-optional items include place of loading and unloading, data about type and size of load or cargo space of vehicle and date of implementation. Other items are optional (number of pallets, ADR, means of loading,...)

Carriage and free vehicles

This part of the program makes it possible to view integrated data (carriage, free vehicles) offered in the RAALTRANS system and also to display data about the firm that made the offer.

It is possible to search according to filters (place of loading, unloading, size of load, required vehicle...)

Information about party making offer

The basic information about the firm making the selected offer is displayed in the lower part of the window. You can call up detailed information about the party making the offer by double clicking offer or clicking the button "Offering Party". After clicking an information window with complete data about the firm and the entered offer is displayed.

The contact data is interactive, it can be used to directly dial a telephone number, for Skype communication, writing emails etc.

It is possible to write your own notes for the individual firms, as well as contacts and experiences serving for the needs of your firm alone. This data is always displayed when you view the details (detailed information) of a concrete firm.

Calculation of distance and display of route diagram

For the individual offers it is possible to calculate the distance and carriage costs according to the criteria you input, tolls and to display the route.

Alternatively it is also possible to view the route in the application GOOGLE MAPS.

List of firms - databank users

Here you can view a list of firms participating in the RAALTRANS system. The database contains a comprehensive list of invoicing and contact data for the given firm, information about changes in registers, additional information and notes inserted by the user.

(only for version with odometer)

The function makes it possible to arrange the order of carriage or free vehicles according to the transit kilometres (kilometres covered without load) or display the offers at a certain distance from the point of loading and unloading. The function thus saves laborious searching for the optimum load for your free vehicle (or to the contrary, the best location of a free vehicle for your load) according to names or postcode of place of loading and unloading.

Calculation of transits

After opening, enter from where and to where you are searching for an offer (for example where your empty vehicle is and to where you want it moved - for example headquarters of your firm) and maximum tolerable distance of place from the vehicle's station (and similarly, place of loading from the entered destination - for example your firm). After calculation the program displays the offers arranged according to transit kilometres with kilometre limit of transit from specified point. Transit kilometre means distance that you have to travel with an empty vehicle to the point of loading and from the point of unloading to your designated destination (for example, headquarters of your firm).

Example: I am searching for an offer from Eindhoven in the Netherlands to Brno. In the table the program displays for me, for example, at first offers directly from Eindhoven to Brno (transit 0 km) and then offers which are as close as possible to the route you have specified. The program also offers me, for example, a route from Genk in Belgium (transit 77 km from Eindhoven to Genk), i.e., also an offer where the point of loading is in a different state.

Additional loads

(only for version with odometer)

The program also allows a search for suitable additional loads on top of your main load. So all the available offers of carriage are arranged from the aspect of suitability of use for additional load. So without complicated searching, after just a few seconds you see on the first page of the result table the most suitable possible additional loads and data necessary to decide whether an additional load is worth it.

Example: I have a load ensured for a trailer from Barcelona to Pardubice, but I have free capacity of 6 loading metres and 5 tons left in the vehicle. I search for a suitable additional load. I can utilise a load from Montpellier in France to Prague as a suitable additional load with minimum detour (1.9 km). I will carry the main load 1834 km and the additional load 1394 km.

Matching of offers

The program also permits the automatic matching of own offers with offers of other users of the RAALTRANS databank. If you have entered your own offers, the program uses this function to seek out corresponding counteroffers, which you can then filter according to your requirements. If, for example, you have a load weighing 1 ton, for matching you can specify that you want it transported by a vehicle with loading weight of 1 to 3 tons. In this way it is possible to exclude offers which would mean that your load would be carried by a needlessly large and expensive to operate vehicle etc.

Archive serves for the time-unlimited archiving of your selected offers of carriage, free vehicles and advertisements. Information about the firm making the offer is also saved along with the archived offer. Archiving makes it possible to save the data of an offer after it has been cancelled by the party making it. You can write various notes for the individual archived offers that automatically have the author, date and time of writing added to them.

All the offers you make are also automatically archived.

The Odometer serves for the calculation and display of the routes you choose. A route can be entered with virtually unlimited number of transit points. The optimum route is selected with regard to the parameters of the vehicle you have selected. In the case of a multi-point route (for example, a circular or pick-up trip), you can also ask the program to select the optimum order of transits through individual points of the route. The criterion for optimisation can be distance, time or financial costs.

You can display or even print out an itinerary for a route found.

The parameters which influence the offered route and resultant costs can be the type of vehicle (speed on individual types of roads, price of toll, costs for vehicle and driver). You can adjust these vehicle parameters in any way you want.
